One thing I learnt from Jono when changing the same gasket is that spring washer don't work on exhaust parts as the heat is to hot and the spring washers will loose their tension and become normal washers.

you can get nuts that lock on, not a nyloc nut either.
they are kind of miss shaped and can only be used once, but they work.
it is an "sr thing" that those nuts come loose.

i got the good nuts from a local turbo repair shop and no issues with e'm now.

Well update, pulled everything apart again to find all the bolts where still tight as so i still haven't found the issue. But while i was there removed the spring washers and chucked in the tabs and new bolts just to make sure. Haven't got around to taking a video, been feelings lazy due to working lots.

Car still acting like a temperamental [language filter smackdown] every now and then. More research required.

Video still to come eventually.

a good turbo or exhaust shop will have them nuts,
a braided line is made to fit length wise etc but flex so ya could try them.
standard s13 hard lines will not work.
