Fat Tyres on a Corsar Ghia

hey guys..

just wandering whats the fattest i can go on a stock corsair thats been lowered on kings without any scrubage ?

thinking 17x7.5 or 17x8  ??

really ? i thought i could atleast go 17x7.5
probably not BUT if i drop it back to 16s it still wouldnt allow me to go wider would it ?

i got 16 with 205 55 r16 but they rub if theres to much wait in the bak.. and i even raised the bak

you will have to roll the guards on superlows, maybe not on lows

Stretch them!!!!! 195x50 ftw!! I'll be running 17x9r 17x8f on my trx. I had the same wheels on my mk3 golf. Sat hella flush

I dont think you will get 17x9 on the rear unless you have an offset of about +28, and then it will sit outside the guards.  Some massive pumping of the guards would be needed.  You should be able to fit the 17x8 on the front but might loose a bit of turning and wear holes in the plastic fairings under the guards.
Post up pics if you manage to make it work, would look mean.

I'm hoping that with a little rolling and an ample amount of stretch it will work. I mean the rear tires aren't super critical on fwd, haha just run hectic lift off over steer! Hmm well I guess I'll have to find out.
