1/4 Mile Time?
« on: Nov 13, 2008, 10:59PM »
Anyone done a 1/4 mile run in a standard 92 Corsair/Pintara with a CA20? Just wanting to know roughly what it's capable of without mods (I don't have a means of measuring an accurate 1/4 mile time myself and nowhere nearby to do it officially)

Haven't done a run, nor do i own a CA powered U12, but i'd say anywhere between 17-18 seconds @ 70-80mph depending on tranny?

According to a statistics site I found it's standard 1/4 mile time (Automatic) is 17.7mph Not too bad I think.. Was quite impressed seeing that but was unsure to it's authenticity, your estimated time of 17-18 seconds confirms the website so thanks :)

add in the age of your car, 20seconds  :P
Don't let the opinions of the average man sway you. Dream, and he thinks you're crazy. Succeed, and he thinks you're lucky. Acquire wealth, and he thinks you're greedy. Pay no attention. He simply doesn't understand.

to be fair, it wouldn't be ANTRX if we stayed on topic.

and if someone wasn't cranky at Chr1s for something he said...

Haha, yeah 16 years is getting old but she runs really really well. Apart from the old suspension you really can't tell you're driving an old car. Feels like one of the 2003/4 Pulsars but faster :P
