It was standard on ALL aussie delivered U13's laurence.

I'm pretty certain of this.  Anyone care to argue otherwise?

snailmans is for the Series 1. Series 2 have it on the right hand side and the wheel is 4 spoke, not 3 spokes.
Dont seem to have a photo of mine.
I can send you the elctrical wiring, sensors and parts diagram in the Electrical section of the manual.

it's airbag related as to which wheel is on the car. obviously cars optioned with airbags (or factory fitted as i think series 1's were) have the 4 spoke wheel.

slims is a SSS

I had a 4 spoke wheel off Alister's old car that had provision for an airbag, but there wasn't one there. The cruise control controls were on the right hand side. His was a LX I think

1BAG - ??? as my plates say. 1 airbag on board and its mine.

snailman looking at yours i reckon my wheel controls would be a lot easier to use. They are in the 3 or 4 O'clock position on right side

Thread Dig.

Found a U13 LX in U Pull It yesterday, had the cruise control module and the actuator under the bonnet. Bought all that stuff, and the buttons that go on the dash, although the steering wheel was already gone. Came home and put it all in, (all the plugs are there). Through reading the wiring diagram I managed to put 2 small buttons on the side of the steering colum to control it. Had it working thismorning but it stopped again, so it can be done. If anyone needs help in setting it up, I can help now.
