Full lock as in pedal to the floor or sharp turn?

If its when turning look at the drive belts and stuff to see if its loose.

My alternator bracket had both the bolts sheared off so the alternator was mimicking Stallone in Cliff hanger meaning the belt on the pulley was moving when driving resulting in the a loud screeching.
Ill fight you. May even throw a bar of soap your way. Maybe a few wax strips and some clip on brembo brake calipers for your fooly sic civic.

i won't say your belt is stuffed. more often than not it a simple adjustment to tighten the belt.
also have heard the sound if the power steering has not been purged properly.

Does it sound like metal on metal sound? Over time the little rubber stops on the hub stops wear away. So when your full lock the stop hits the hub (full lock) and if it moves a little bit you will hear noises.

Not sure if that made any sense or not....

It can be fixed by greasing it up a bit but not something you have to worry about too much.

This happened to me a few weeks ago. turns out one of my alternator bolts decided to abort and the slider bar was the only thing holding it in place.
Before i noticed that I tightened it a bit and it would be ok, but when it was getting to the end of the slider bar and still squeaking I knew something was wrong.
So if I was you snail man I would be checking that the bolts that hold the alternator into its bracket are intact/tight.
