« on: Aug 5, 2009, 09:50PM »
Hi guys im new to this forum, i have a nissan bluebird 1994 SSS and i live in Melbourne, Australia.
Im after a new distributor ( whole unit ) becuase my car was playing up really bad, sounded like a V8 when i was driving it, it had a fair bit of oil in the dizzy cap, cleaned that then the car was fine. Was told to get a whole new dizzy and i cant just buy the O rings. Anyone know where i could find brand new dizzyz from or new O rings ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? im in melbourne and cannot find a single shop! ( nissan dealership charges over $1000 ) Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Catch fellas!

I'm in SA, but about a year and a half ago when I had to get my dizzy replaced the auto electrician did have trouble sourcing one. He did find one after a day or so though and cost $600-4sh
My car history:
'88 Toyota Camry - Engine Died
'85 Toyota Corona - Engine Died
'82 Nissan Bluebird - Write Off
'88 Toyota Camry (same one as before) - Trans Died
'94 Nissan Bluebird LX - SOLD
'88 Toyota Hilux - Handed over to dad and now residing in Perth
'84 Nissan R30 Skyline - SOLD
'99 Nissan Stagea RS4-S - SOLD

Current rides:
'99 Mazda FD RX7 - Lots of fun, but currently up for sale
'95 Nissan Bluebird LX - Current sedate daily
'85 Suzuki GSXR250 - Motorbikes are fun! :)
