Cam + LPG
« on: May 4, 2010, 12:37AM »
hey again guys! this time a question regarding me getting a cam..

Once my slight hesitation problem has been fixed (as per previous thread), im going to put a cam in. I want to put the R4 cam in, but obviously its lumpier than stock. Trouble is, my LPG is a conventional mixer system, so when cold it doesnt like to run perfect as it is...

How do you think my LPG will run with an R4 cam in it? what can i do (within reason) to avoid any running troubles on gas?

When i'm cruisin' wit my bitches and G's ready to pop a cap in the ass of some fool who thinks he's bank by takin' my corner of the block....  ::)

Only way to sort out any issues will be as they come up once you have the cam in.
Idle speed can be raised no problem if it's rough around 800rpm.

As for fuelling, best bet would be to go with an LPG performance oriented workshop to tune it for you, run it on a dyno with a wideband to make sure your mixtures are good.
