Title: Which type of steering rack
Post by: sossy on Aug 28, 2016, 02:21PM
Hi

i have a 91 Pintara u12 with the ca20e, and i am looking to replace the inner and outer tie rods.  Whenever i go online to order them, it gives me options for the normal steering rack, the imported steering rack or the TRX rack.

I assume i have the normal rack, but how can i be sure, is there a way of identifying which rack you have?

Also, is there a secret ninja way of removing the inner tie-rods, or will i need to buy an inner-tie-rod removal tool?

not 100% on the tool, don't think you do. The steering rack would be the normal. They only thing would maybe if you didn't have power steering maybe? pretty sure its the same as the R31.
