Other than the GTIR bonnet vent it looks fairly quality as luke pointed out.  Definately a bit teenage, but not the worst I've seen.
I'd say at $3000 its probably priced about right, swap over the bonnet to a standard and it would be a pretty good.
I might point out that he went to all that effort then puts those shitty seat covers on there???  I cant stand badly fitting seat covers... seat covers are bad enough, but loose floppy ones are just the worst!

my mate had one and it was slow as. not a big fan of the interior, reckon its a p plate friendly?

even with these "cams" i doubt it will be as fast as a stock u12. my brother owned a charade which has the same DOHC 1.3 motor, can you say slow ? i timed it from 80 - 100 and it literally took 6 seconds :P shit cars to drive, turn a round about and body roll is intense, feels like your gonna fall out a window.....
