smiley, thanks 4 the info on imaging :D

Youre right, it SHOULD have carbon fibre panels but no they are just plain panels im guessing she salvaged off a wreck. wait til you see the photos you will be in tears :P

and yes she does think her car is unbeatable, she tried tell me she dragged off an "Rx-8" flacon  ;D im guessing she either meant a mazda Rx-8 or an XR-8 falcon which is obviously i lie. And she is supposedly a part time apprentice mechanic  ;D

and yes there will always be a "reason" she didn't win, I.e wheelspin, wrong gear, bad start.  :D

The main thing that pissed me off was that she told absolutely everyone she beat me and people seemed to belive her  >:( so i got a bit of crap from the boys ect.

thanks for the confidence vote jono!

Just like you, the XR-8 or RX-8 probably wasn't even racing...  :-\ Probably some innocent old lady returning home with her shopping. Um, in her husband's car.

I think you'll win too personally. I would be sore if one of those beat me, although I've definitely seen some fast ones. I've never actually dragged one. I did go the old turbo - it had 4 people and he was trying to play cat & mouse with me until I floored 2nd and beat him by at least 100m...
His: 2001 Audi S4 biturbo quattro 6sp, Nogaro Blue/black leather recaros, microsilver trim, bose 10sp, SSAC 2.5" twin turboback, RS4 rear sway, 25% tint

Bro driving: 1990 Nissan Pintara TRX 5sp Red, 16" Rozzis, Lukey 4-2-1 ext, 2.5" full exhaust, hi-flow cat, cone cai, stg 3 chip,  low Kings, GT Gas shocks, Urethane bushings, slotted front rotors, 398000k and still going strong; 0-100 in around 7.2-7.4 seconds

i hate ppl who make excuses. "NO it wasnt wheel spin or a bad start, my bluebird put car lengths on ur pulsar caus its faster and cooler"
thats wat i would say if i raced a shitty little pulsar on the streets and not on the track.... if its the mx6 shape im thinking of(2door), in turbo form it struggles to keep it with a vp commo. so the pinnie should have no troubles against a non turbo auto

hrm you shouldnt need drivers should you?

Are you using windows xp? I never use the cameras software i normally open the files from the removable disk as its easier and you dont have to use shit software that will do the same job ten times slower.

You didn't look very hard at all, did you.

ftp://download.sony.com/dvimag/USBDRVEN.EXE - click to download.

funnily it took less than 5 minutes to find on the sony site to find.

U will kill it in second gear.

Taking of on the line will be rather even traction wise but if u change high and flog second gear untill redline u will get ahead easy then ur in the good torque range for 3rd and forth. But that time u will be hitting over 140 so thats it.

Yeah damn today tonight.  From what ive read, this model is only just faster then the turbo. But yeah there are some fast ones around, but from the sound of things this aint one of em.

if its the mx6 shape im thinking of(2door), in turbo form it struggles to keep it with a vp commo. so the pinnie should have no troubles against a non turbo auto

I wouldnt go as far as saying VPs are slow cars tho. Because like most commos they are fairly quick, even the beat up ones.  (btw for those who disagree; no flaming required)

as I said before... weight reduction + high octane = beat mx6 (do anything, go to the toilet right before it, put tyre warmers on your wheels... stick ice on your air intake :P)

well as soon as their done with my damm clutch  >:( (and now their saying the synchro needs replacing or i need a new gearbox  ??? not good.

well anyway ill probably go as far as removing the spare, the jack, and the rest of the crap from the boot. along with that ill get some 98 ocatane.

imagining it was dry conditions would i be better with completely bald fronts (with no tread whatsoever) or my normal grippy tyres?

and would i be better with stock airbox or simota pod?

I wouldn't necessarily just run on old bald tyres. Normal ones'll do.

Yeah just get rid of any unnecessary junk from the car, throw the pod on, drive OK and you'll be fine.

Just find a nice 2 lane road at night that has a set of lights and a high speed limit (80-100) and see who can hit the speed limit first. Im sure thats not legal but techniqly ur not breaking any important rules.

do anything, go to the toilet right before it,

ehehe.. pee on her wheels.. just to get her fired up so she mucks up her gears rofl.. ** bondy proceeds to roll around on the floor laughing for the next 10 minutes at the thought of someone actually taking a leak on someone's tyres to piss them off, then realises that it's sad to laugh at your own jokes  :-[

Ash spends some time laughing at bondy for laughing at the thought that pissing on some1s wheels would piss them off so much that they would muck up there gears when they drive an auto.

*bondy goes and dyes her hair blonde...

but.. in my defence.. the thought of someone pissing on her tires could make her do anything.. like umm.. get out of the car to hit you by which time you've jumped back in your car and won the race.

ok.. that hasnt made up for it has it, lol.
