ANTRX in SPEED magazine
« on: Jun 8, 2004, 10:31AM »
Whoevere decided to put in the club's details in the back of SPEED magazine, should be congratulated!

For those of you that don't know, SPEED has a back page with club details, and I was flipping through it and what do you know, antrx is in the listings!

Apart from that, this current issue of SPEED is a beauty.

Well-well look. I already told you: I deal with the god damn customers so the engineers don't have to. I have people skills; I am good at dealing with people. Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?

u have neva heard of SPEED???

its a killa magazine. i am about to go buy this month issue. It great if your into Skyline cause they often have some nice skyline in there. Its based more around perfromance then show which is why i went from hot4s to SPEED.

There is a sorta complain section in there too which brings up some great conversations. Not just some bogan saying how his chopped springs are safer than performance springs.

Exactly what Browny said...this issue is a great one, apart from having a big 20 page thing on drifting, there are some friggen nice feature cars in there. And yes it is almost totally focused on performance. Its motto is "drivingtuningstyling"

But I must draw your attention to the worst letter of the month, it is friggen hilarious...I'll type it out for you guys.

"GT-RS SUCK"
I was recently reading the Dec-Jan 2003 issue of speed which I found lying around and something was brought to my attention. In Reaction Time, one reader-obviously the owner of a skyline GT-R-believes that his car can beat an old school V8. If he had any sort of brain, he would realise that cars like the old GT-HO's and Monaros would leave there little Jap-crap imports for dead with or without the need of a turbo. I am a P-plater but while on my L's, I was behind the wheel of a stock standard Dihatsu Charade with a 1.3 litre under the bonnet (which I am aware is a Jap-made car) and have not once been beaten by another Jap-import performance car.
I think Nissan should stick to the family cars because the Skyline is a heap of shit. The only real import to ever come out of japan that is worth buying for performance is the WRX STi.
Mike via email "

That is some funny shit eh!

I will say this..the only reason he has never been bveaten is cos that every driver that pulled up along side him couldn't stop laughing and missed the change to green!

i guess the best way to expose a club is by getting the name published as a good forums site etc.

might see a few more sign-ups from people who have read it. ;D
