ECU noob
« on: Aug 8, 2008, 04:38PM »
i thought considering im getting everything else done and i still have a lil cash left to spend on the car i might as well get an ECU on the to do list is this the right one for the nissan pintara trx?

http://www.antrx.com/shop/view_product.php?product=57

and is it the best one you can get for the U12?

i assume it also comes with the stuff i need to connect it to my laptop all the cables and stuff?

Dude what engine are you running? That link is for a CA18 BTW.

Basically its a chip that gets inserted in your ECU after it has been socketed. It won't come with any cables or anything dude.

You might want to search up more man.
Ill fight you. May even throw a bar of soap your way. Maybe a few wax strips and some clip on brembo brake calipers for your fooly sic civic.

Dude you drive a TRX right? It would be a KA24E (The rocker cover would say 2400 on it) unless by chance someone did an engine swap and dropped a CA20E or SR20 or something which I doubt.

Post pics of your engine bay man.

btw you want either this one

http://antrx.com/shop/view_product.php?product=1&searchlink=yes&search=ka24e%20chip&page=

or this one

http://antrx.com/shop/view_product.php?product=107&searchlink=yes&search=ka24e%20chip&page=

if you have a trx (and you're still running the same engine)

and this is the chip that will need to be swapped

i strongly recommend you take it somewhere to be done..
