I used to play basketball, indoor cricket and netball (indoor and outdoor). I also used to do dancing. However, that all stopped when i graduated from uni. These days i just go to the gym to keep fit.

yeah tell me about the fitness training, its sucks and is dam hard!

but worth it! an 8km run aint fun, but you feel good afterwards

i dont mind the long distance stuff, you can sort of get in a rhythm and just keep going. its all the sprints and short stuff that wears me out the most. starting and stopping, starting and stopping. all that recovery time stuff

shhiiiitttteee ryan, that's pretty bad.. I thought when i did my knee and ankle in i was bad, not that bad tho !

I can still play, but my feet kill me after the game.

ya right there, thats even worse! circuit shit is what kills you!!!

doing laps around the pitch and then only getting a 15 -20 second break! follow that up with a grand total of 10 laps of the full field. DAM!!!

at the moment  squash & golf(trying sooo hard to get my handicap down)

used to play indoor soccer, outdoor soccer, footsal, footy, and in my younger days i raced BMX bikes (just with friends) almost everyday

but age and my love of food got the best of me

yeah i also play golf.

handicap not tooo long ago was around 11, just need to get it down a bit lower which shouldnt be that hard if i play regularly.

Hmm how did this thread get past me??

Anyways.
I used to play soccer for umm 2 years at high school, that was good fun, then played soccer for an all indian team, yup you guessed it i was the only white guy there, was so fun tho. ;D

Now i play no sport, altho wouldnt mind getting back into soccer.
Some weekend me and couple mates go play bit of golf over in albany creek, people there are sweet as and dont mind how we're dressed or what we bring to drink.
So we usually get drunk. ;)

yeah i love sport i dont get to play the games i love as much as i wish i could but i do what i can.
i try to go to the gym everyday and do that kind of stuff
i swim heeps
and when we can get to it i love squash and golf!!

golf is great, but extreeemly frustrating. ive been known to throw clubs and leave divits, if im having a bad game.

On the topic of sport my hopeless basketball team that I coach has actually come 3rd in the draw!!! But thats out of 4 and the only reason we came 3rd was cos a team forfeit the game  ::)

Just let you guys know, that my soccer team made it into the finals, which we will be playing tomorrow at 12:30... ill let you guys know how we go...
also on the 28th (coming monday) have a muay thai comp in the city, it will be my first proper comp, so im pretty excitted

just an update on the soccer finals...
we lost  :( but we put up a pretty good fight, we went down 3-2... oh well always next year

...now to concentrate on muay thai

Report on my Muay Thai comp last night...
Out of a possible 9 Matches (it was an elimination style setup with 256 competitors from around VIC), i got knocked out in the 7th round, so i won 6 matches...
i'm pretty happy with my result, considering this was my first State competition ;D...
...but im sore as :-\

Start training hard for next year
