Title: engine mounts why do mackays mount look differnt to kelpro

why the hell is mackay auto transmission mount deffer to kelpro they look nothing alike but spose to be the same? mine looks like the one from mackay anyone?

top pic is an auto mount! bottom one is a manual mount

Both say auto lh mount manual one looks differnt again maybe they stuffed up the pics online check it out at kelpro and mackay urself if u don't believe me. Mt9663 is the code for kelpro and a6004 for mackay :)

If you want the one from Mackay, and it looks the same as the one you have, why don't you just order that one?

i did but just a point of interest why is it differnet thats all and mackay is ten times more expensive

ok i went to the wreckers today and they had a couple of pintaras there trying to get an ok auto gearbox mount but they didnt have any ;( anyway

as i can tell the top one from mackay part number a6004 is for the gearbox with the sump ontop
and the kelpro one is for the other style of auto gearbox,
now im thinking becoz mine has lsd would this be why the gearbox differs hence the mounts differ?

if anyone can confirm that lsd auto gearboxs have there sump ontop and non lsd just looks like a normal auto gearbox ;)



this isnt over for me i need to find out why just bugging me lol

lsd and non lsd dont effect the mounts...
if you look at the stuff i have posted you see the difference...

hi

i have also noticed this as well and i have bought both brands and the mount is still wrong compared to what i pulled out of my car.

i went to repco and supercheap as well as buying online and i still cant find the right mount. passenger side trans mount.

i have been meaning to go to nissan but they close early and are a pain to get to, also are closed on weekends.

i will try and have a pic up to show what i am talking about but i find this really strange.

as soon as you get the part you can tell its not right however some part illustrations are shown on an angle and look to be the right part.

I did have 2 but sold them.. ??? try to get an insert maybe, they will need to be pressed in an out. kelpro do them,

if you haven't alreay ordered look up aoutopartswarehouse.com im pretty sure thats where my engine mounts came from. They are in the US but from memory you're looking at $30-40 a mount plus shipping

Don't forget they call pintara's a STANZA
