Ok, I've searched, I found a post by Ka-Bluey with a pinout colours from a U13 Altima, for some reason, it's way off.. it didn't even match the colours of my standard loom?
I got a Series 2 SSS if that matters.
Can anyone help me with what colour does what?
I can't use a battery to make speakers "pop" because it's amped, I don't even know what colour turns the amps on!!!!
Thanks
Chris.

You haven't cut the factory plugs off have you?

I have that,
It's wrong, myself and my friend were like WTF.
nope, stock harness.

The plug positions are right, wiring colours are almost always wrong. Almost all Nissans of that era have identical radio plugs. And they almost never have a ground wire in the loom.

I think i'll just bypass the whole setup.
I can't get rear speakers to work for some reason, I'll check the fuses. If not, i'll fuck the amps off (I heard they die anyway)

Hey all,
Just letting you know that on my 1995 SSS (which actually used the "198501994" pinout on the InstallDr site) works fine with that specific wiring diagram.
NB it has the premium sound system, and uses the 1985-1994 plug and diagram.
Cheers!

Chris, not sure if you got this working or even still have the car, but from memory there's a 5th wire in the rear speaker plug, this is the remote wire for the rear amp.

Having trouble getting my new HU wired up in my U13 SSS Series II as well... can't for the life of me get a speaker to pop/crackle using the AA battery method.
Have just printed off the diagram csimpson mentions from installdr, so we'll now see how I go!

All sorted, diagram from that site matches up perfectly :)
