if the media didn't jump on the story he'd still be a nobody, probably still a little turd, but he probably wouldn't have been bashed perhaps.

Afaik he didn't actually start the riot... just host the party and think he's king shit. The kid is underage and not legally responsible as far as inciting riots goes.

yeah, sure he's a jerk, and I'd probably hit him myself, but no 16 year old deserves to be made an example of throughout national media.

Surely there's other news out there thats more interesting and worthy of all this attention. Y'know... like puppies surfing or something.

this is just proves how crap the aus media is lol. Anyone can be a fucking celebrity, the only reason they aren't targeting anyone in football at the moment is because its not in season. Other regular hits by the media include myspace, youtube, west coast eagles (no suprise there), con artists and 'hoons'

Maybe, but he also wouldn't have been handed a $100,000 year gig promoting parties. That just makes me angry!
