splits/tweeter placement
« on: Jan 26, 2006, 10:09AM »
I've managed to cleanly mount the mid-bass half of my splits into the doors, so now i'm trying to work out where the best place for mount the tweeters is?

if anyone has any photos of where they mounted theirs, that would be great too.

Corner pieces (right by the mirror) in the door. I glued mine there, makes for a good sound stage.

If somebody asks you, "can I ask you a question?" and you say, "no",  you're actually answering a question. Think about it....

I have mine on the A pillar too at the moment. But have had them in the kick panels before, and my new tweeters will be kick panel mounted too. Gives a better stage but lowers the height. Up to you!
