Thanks teena,

But this system is not built for dB Drag comps. It is an SQ (Sound Quality) car. I would be lucky to hit 120dB!!! :P

SQ is scored on a number of things.

Here is the scoring sheet. Basically, one or two judges (depending on class) will sit in your car with a specialised CD that has some of the most well recorded music you can find and they score on you certain aspects of the sound that your system produces.

If you would like to know what any of that score sheet means just ask, I'd be happy to help :)

Can i grab a copy of the cd ? :P, i rekon my system would give it a fair go  ;D

For others, get a high quality version of Madonna - Border line..

It farkin hammers SQ wise.

to be fair, it wouldn't be ANTRX if we stayed on topic.

Thank guys!

Yes completely happy with all the products so far. Some of you may not know, I work for an Alpine dealer, thought I should let you know beforehand.

Since I work all day with it, I know what sort of gear will go best for my application. It may not necessarily be the best gear for everyone. And of course, yes, I do get staff discounts. There's no way I would have this system if I had to pay full price, as it stands it reaches $10,000+ to buy retail. Those splits would cost you $3000 alone...  :o

But in saying that, it has never failed me and has worked flawlessly. If I had not worked for an Alpine dealer, I would not have chosen a full Alpine system (mainly because of the cost factor) so I am in no way saying this brand is the best :)

That install looks absolutely tops. I really like the A-pillar install. I'd like to do something much the same - stealth/discreet install, with good sound quality.

Given your obvious expertise on this, feel like giving me some tips on what to get? > http://www.antrx.com/smf/index.php?topic=10501.0 (Throw suggestions in there to keep your own thread on topic :))
