well ive got 2 inch pipe running from the cat back with a lukey sports muffler at the rear end. but what i really wana do is bump it up a notch and put in 2.5 inch piping from the headers all the wat to the rear end with a high flow cat in the middle. now, i was guna get just a 2.5 inch sports muffler put on it, cuz i hate that constant droning sound you get with cannons, but then i just had an after thought, would i get much power gain out of a cannon that would be worth that ugly noise??

I honestly don't think it will make much difference. The bigger diameter exhaust will help more than a different type of muffler.
