Stage 3 chip installations probably best left to an expert. There's enough threads floating around about how to do it.. if you DIY, make sure you know what you're doing with a soldering iron first.

Re: installing ecu, just disconnect the battery, pull the old one out, and swap over. Easy. Make sure you screw the ECU socket in properly, lest it spark when you try to fire it up and fry your ECU. Obvious yet friendly warning ;)

With the front LSD and the Antrx performance chip installed into the custom ECU, along with lots of head work and extractors, its a tyre fryer. I tried the stock bumper bar with the 15inch mags, however I found it had no grip what so ever. Therefore, I went back to the custom bullbar, however I still suffer from loss of traction throughout the gears. It's all good though and its quite a nice sleeper.

Fixed.. that must be some bullbar to hold down the front... ::)
Ill fight you. May even throw a bar of soap your way. Maybe a few wax strips and some clip on brembo brake calipers for your fooly sic civic.

What chip can i put in my ECU for good fuel economy ?
Performance has been great, now to go the other way for fuel economy just to see how many extra kms out of a 60L tank at present im getting 450km, How many kms should i be getting 91 Pintara T KA24E 60 L Tank . i have a 3rd custom ECU that will accept any chip simply push in pull out ive got a spare power chip for 98 octane im tipping thats only going to give me more power ..

 .
Is there a chip that will give me better fuel economy? any engine mods ?

the powerchip only advances timing by a few degrees. it doesnt change your fuel maps at all, so extra performance is minimal and could be achieved by advancing your distributor.

i have had people comment that the antrx chips increase fuel economy, which doesnt suprise me as it pulls a lot of fuel out of the map as the stock maps are tuned super rich, but ultimately it depends on how you drive. if you're just doing highway km, you could easily get 650km out of the tank and still have a few litres left, you could potentially get more than that its been a long time since i've driven a u12 to know, but then at the same time, you could drive around town like a bit of a goose and you'll only get 400km out of the tank.
