Obviously a newbie with a '92 TRX. Red, manual, lowered sports exhaust.
Hopefully I can get some guidance to modifying the car a little, legally of course. ;D

Tahnx for the welcome guys. The cars pretty much the way we got it last year. It's my daily driver, and I really don't wanna do too much or spend to much. My other toys do a good job of bleeding me dry, plus the missus would kill me. It's actually our 'shared' car.
Mainly interested in getting the body kit bitz that are missing/broken, respray, 15s or 16s and possibly redoing the exhaust.
Obviously not all in the same day, and as many second handers as possible. Let me know if you have any leeds.
I will post in the 'trade' section if there is one.

welcome mate. which part of the land do you hail from?

there's plenty of resources around to get you going with modification, and possibly where you can pick up some of the gear that you're looking for

Hmmmm nice collection you got there.

When you go to reply to a post (like this one) click on 'additional options' under the space where you type and there should be a 'attach' availability.

If not, use something like photobucket.com or imageshack.com

Looking forward to seeing some piccies.

Managed  to set up my webspace with optus. Been trying for an hour and a half. Not hard or complecated, just I had to compress and alter some images. Check it out and tell me what you think of my rides, past and present.
http://members.optusnet.com.au/~fmach1

Does imageshack allow me to set up albums, cause it sucks having it all on one page. I'd like to set up albums for each vehicle that I've owned. Does it cost anything, and how much space can I use.

Umm...

You don't really need to have a webpage, all you need really is an index with the files there, it's alot easier for us to scroll through rather than loading a gallery.

Then you can sort your cars out in folders, but meh... it's all up to you in the end.

I'm pretty sure you can use albums on PB/IS

Hey chr1s, did the link work for you. Just curious, couple of times I opened the page and only saw a zebra. I only got the webpage 'cause it's part of my Broadband package.
I thought people might prefer an album instead of having a look at everything that's uploaded. Thanx.

Yes, the site works fine..

FYI that webspace only has 10mb of storage and it's shared with your email account, so if you have 8mb's of email's, you only have 2mb for webspace.

Thanx, it's not quite that good in the flesh. Paints pretty rough, needs to be a little lower, different mags. But it's got it where it counts, just on 96 dba of 351 V8. Hit top speed the other day, 100MPH/170KPH. Seeing as it's Monday, today I get my engineers and my RWC. Car's booked in with VIC roads on Thursday and I can finally cruize at peace.

****************************************************************************************************

Got the engineers on Monday, RWC on Wednesday and took it to Vicroads today. Got knoced backed on the RWC due to it being very messy. Got a VP/VR number due to the engine not having one. Went back to the mechanic for a new RWC and stamping. As I got bak to Vicroads, my indicators stopped working. Luckily they didn't notice. So It's finally registered and I'm already driving it everywhere, legaly.

Who gives a shit?

If the cops read this, they can find out who he is through his IP address, and visit him in person. Or better yet, the cameras on the ring road would have caught him for sure.

Just cos the rego'd expired doesn't mean his details are automatically deleted, so not only will he be caught for 100 over the speed limit, but dicked for having expired rego.

PS another thing about cops. I went to the Reservoir station to report a road rage incident where a commodore driver porpously tailgated me and tried to run me off the road when I was on my bike last week.
The cop was very helpful, but died everything to avoid taking my statement. I had rego plates, description of car and driver. The driver  turned into a recedentioal pocket of Reservoir so I suggested that she look him up. She confirmed rego, car and registerd owners age all checked out.

I've rung them to make the statement three times since last Wednesday, so when it comes to road 'crimes', they don't care unless they physicaly catch you. Let them come to me, at least I'll get a chance for this statement.

I am in no way trying to encourage any one to do any 'illegal' activity. Nor am I trying to justify any 'illegal' driving I've been part of in the past.. Had I been able to get to a circuit and test my car out In the last two months, I would have as I have done many times in the past. I do hold a CAMS liscence and prefer testing on an enclosed track, just work and other commitments have not been to time consuming of late.

Again, just for the record, I am not trying to justify any of my actions. I also wish to say that I did not intend to upset or go against the moral of this forum, and I apologise if this is the opinion that I have projected. If any member feels that I have upset them in any way let me know and I will apologise to each member directly.

Didnt think they made the TRX in 92? Thought it was just 90 and 91 models. Could be wrong because they made the U12 till 1992 but i thought that was only the executive 1's?
