its called a hobby...  ive been into cars ever since i can remember... its a passion and a hobby so why not do the things that you enjoy?

Fair enough. Just a question to those who do get cars a long time before their licenses: do you get insurance, rego and all that on it as well? Or does it only sit in the garage? That's the main thing I thought it was weird to get a car that early, because all that stuff is real expensive.

I'm saving my money for investment property, to give me a decent return down the track so i can enjoy this hobby to an even larger extent.

Can't wait till i graduate so i can do the same..

It really is just money issues that stops people from doing different mods.
It took 3 months to sell my extractors after two people pulled out because of money... And then there is my car... I've got so much stuff just laying around waiting to go on the car, but time and money needed to do them properly is always lacking.  
- Intake mods
- new grill
- custom front lip
- bonnet ready for cut and scoop put in
- R32 tail lights 90% done

School and work takes priority i'm afraid, my car gets me there and back, so thats all that really matters for now.

im sure a lot of people fall into the same boat as us chris, and sorry saiun, i think that the whole i CANT get a job and NOBODY will give me a job statement is just pure crap.

i think i tend to agree with you colzie. jobs are out there you just have to put yourself out there, and do something so that you stand out from everyone else that applied. who cares if you're only an average joe, if they can see that you'll bring something unique to the workplace they'll be way more likely to give you the call. you can't just show up with your resume and expect them to 'give' you the job because you're going to be sooo indispensible to their company, meh. to sum up: there is no such thing as a free lunch
