If you have a T, Ti or TRX it should just be a matter of plugging in all the power window stuff, and Kranzy should be able to tell you a bit about the air-con, he's replaced just about all of his.

Air con is costly if parts need to be replaced. As for installing it from scratch it wont be that hard providing you have all the bits and pieces you need to do the job.

I had to replace the tx valve, piping to and from the compressor and that was work around $400ish. Then gas and service to get it going so it can be costly. If you have the bits and pieces it wont be hard. Just look at someone elses car with air con so you can see where and how everything is run.

Im assuming the compressor wiring and pressure switch will be there even on the models that didnt come standard with air con. If not you will need either the engine loom or splice into the current loom. This im not sure on.

Theres some info to get you started.

I'm positive there's wiring for the compressor clutch, pressure switch and the in-cabin switch.

??? howcome the trx already has all the wiring and doesnt have power windows in it?
does that mean theres already wiring on the uther side of the doors and u dont have to wire anything to the battery? sounds simple...

you got a trx WITHOUT air-con?! What a stingy new car buyer that person was!
First a Silver TRX, then a White TRX...whats next? Game Boy-Clear style TRX?

so that means your car has no inside condensor? and no piping through the firewall? glad i'm not the one installing it lol. i spose it'd be easy if you bought a whole pintara with aircon in it.

haha, it's not as easy as it sounds.

My power windows are still sitting in the shed from my corsair... probably been there for more then a year now.
