a heat gun or hair dryer and some fishing line for the badges. just use the heat gun and your fingers for the stickers

floss and a hairdryer.
a. dont get too close with the hairdryer
b. if its old paint u will still see the outline in the paintwork due to fading
And there's not much I can say
But we miss you every day
And I'm bitter 'cause it's unfair
We'll be drinkin' in the sun
Playing music having fun
Cause one day I'll see you there

I second the hair dryer method.

I had about 6 rows of that horrendous silver pin striping that came on the T when i first got it, took a whole day with someone else helping; would have taken much longer without heating it up.

yeah just take it easy.. if its one of those long stanley knife blades (the snap off one), take the blade out and use it like a scraper..

dont go too close, cut and polish will remove the thin layer left

yeah eucalyptus oil or prepsol is even better to remove stickers and badges, then cut and polish it. i used prepsol on my trx to get the stickers offthe paint, did the trick nicely.

Yea but your sticky stuff would have been softish. Mine is very hard, and well as much as i got off there is still some left behind, just like the outline of the letters, will try take a photo and show you.
Used some meths, does the trick but its fuck slow. So need a quicker alternative. Wanna loose both the SSS badges too.

Metho dissolves the paint out from under the crap. I wouldn't use metho on the exterior of my car.

Hasnt done crap to my paint. I think that the cut polish has done more harm...

And that is where cutting and polishing will do the trick of restoring your paint work to match the unfaded bits under the badge.  If your paint work is already in a fairly good nick, removing the badges wouldnt make a difference.  (it didnt on mine)

I reject your reality and subsitute it with my own.....

you can try turps or X55 to get rid of the gunk, X55 does evaporate quicker if you're looking for that.

DON'T use Turps. Turps eats paint.
Metho or Kerosene will do the trick, without harming your paintwork. Just rinse any residue off afterwards.

In my experiences with it, it's been great. Didn't affect the paint on my 91 Camry or U13. Maybe the U12 paint is of a lower grade *shrugs*

Wax 'n' grease remover works wonders and doesn't damage paint.

Oh and I don't really like the idea of X55 on paintwork.

Like jono said before metho and turps will fuck your paint, if your don't believe us, wash your car in either paint thinners or brake fluid and tell us how that goes. :o
