Last time I was under the car, I noticed that the rubber boots on my ball joints have disintegrated, and I have some weird noises going from drive to reverse and braking..
My mate from a service centre said once the rubber has perished, the ball joints tend to deteriorate very quickly. Is it possible to replace just the ball joint, or does the whole control arm need to be replaced?
Has anyone got any ideas about the cost involved?
I'm trying to bring my pinti up to standard now.. it has a few problems
Like brakes, suspension, tyres and ball joints... but that's about it
Cheers,
Paul.
