Title: Trx Bodykit
Post by: Pure_Sincerity on Jun 22, 2010, 06:59PM
Hey i own a Ka24 Corsair and bought the front and rear kit off a Trx.
The kits in the shop atm getting sprayed but.....
I've been wandering where i would put my rear liscence plate and I also need to install a light for it. Any Ideas ?

others that have done this have modded the rear lip to take the numberplate. i think pedro has done this.

alternatively, you could drop even more cash and buy a set of pintara tail lights and number plate holder. although i think it looks much better with the corsair lights.

If you want to go this option I've got a full set of lights/plate holder incl. plate lamps... you can have pretty cheap.   But personally I'd mod the bumper to fit it.

How's $75 for the lot sound?  (plus post if required)

Tail lights incl. bulb stalk thingy
Plate panel is all black (no ugly strip of orange across the top), and includes the lamps for number plate.
Only missing one under light trim which are everywhere... can source one for you if you want.

I'll try grab a pic this weekend.

Cheers,
Colby

I've never actually tried bolting up to coarsair, but 99% sure they will be the same.  Maybe just check in your boot to make sure the holes for the plate lamps are there (30mm hole each side of the boot about 15cm from the middle)

I'm way down in outer Melb area so will be a bit of postage, I'll try find out how much that will cost.

should be right man although if you look at these 2 pics the only problem would be the strip under the reflectors on the corsair. im preetty sure it comes off.

And there is a groove on the indicators of the Pintara tails that aren't on the Corsair lights.

Well since this got moved and it's spearing on the home page again just to let you know I ended up doing the whole Trx rear end transfer, and yea colby everything bolts straight up and it only cost me 20 bucks from the wreckers for the two tail lights, the number plate holder and the strips underneath :)

Now gotta save up the pennys and get the trx front bar cut and painted, along with getting some trx side skirts without the pods. Also white guages and a red leather gearstick boot. :)
