i had no idea what APL meant when i read this topic, thought maybe you had meant the ALP (political party)  :P

i have never watched an APL game as u call it, and i never intend on doing so.

I follow AFL the most closely, then NRL, and couldnt give 2 shits about rugby  ::)

GO LIONS!

oi nissman i reckon this year sometime we organise antrx members going to the gabba. if there is enough interest  :)

of course i would support them,  there was a story in the news down here recently about starting a new team, but in the end the funds arent there.

im not a one eyed afl fanatic either, i just prefer it over soccer.
lets not get into an arguement about which sport is better, i apologise if anything i said has offended you. :)

yeah right, im sure there are a lot more afl fans on here than there are soccer fans.   at least you dont get really pissed off and wild when people start saying afl or anything else is better than soccer. because some people do! ::)

of course there are more fans. because soccer is a poorly advertised sport, where as afl is in your face 24/7

i think soccer people get so pissed off when someone says that whatever sport is better is because the people that say it are so fucked in the head & their reasoning is just plain bullshit.

my most hated comment is "soccer is a sport for [language filter smackdown]" and "soccer has no skill"

i'd like to see half these brain dead morons try play soccer and have some skill about it.

there is also something else that i dont feel helps out soccer's aim in getting some more popularity in australia but i dont know how to word it without sounding horribly racist which is not how i mean it to sound.

soccer was a very heavily ethnically based sport i think is how u would put it noss... but thank god its changing because im sick and tired of all the people associated with clubs that are only in it for themselves...
