Whats This...?

Hey guys, i was just doing a check on the engine making sure everything is a okay.
when i saw this black thing, no idea what its called little help would be great!
theres two cords connected to it.
one of them had a hole in the hole but i've fixed that up.
i thought it could have been an air regulator but i got no idea.

It's a vacuum reservoir used to actuate the Swirl Control Valves in the intake manifold.
