australian parts
« on: Oct 11, 2005, 04:04PM »
i own a 1997 altima gxe u13 and was wondering if anyone would be able to pick me up some stuff and ship it to the u.s.a.  i live in detroit michigan and lets just say people's sense of style around here is not as sophisticated.  also, i was wondering if i would be able to install electronic climate control on my standard altima interior.  any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome mate...
Check this thread for info regarding the climate control swap, i'm actually about to do it if I can pick up all the parts (climate control unit, temp sensors etc).

What parts are you after?
Just remember, U13s aren't very common in Australia as most people would buy a Pulsar or Maxima instead.
Since they aren't very common, some items can be quite pricey from the wreckers.
Cheers.

No worries :)
If you did want me to get you some parts, there are two U13 SSS models and a LX model at wreckers near me.

well think u could get me some bluebird logos and stuff?  i'm wanting to start the change over slowly.  think it'd be sweet to put the bluebird emblems on... also if u can find one of the climate control units that is electronic look for a price for me and factor in a finders fee.  thanks man.

From what I can see on the site, they only have old 910 Bluebird badges, not U13 Aus style ones.

the company's main focus is the 510 bluebirds, but they sell the U13 "SSS" badges and if you ask they will source a U13 "bluebird" badge also.
