okay i know people keep asking stuff like this, but i'd really appreciate it if someone could help me. I can't seem to find an audio wiring diagram for my nissan pintara 92. I found a general nissan one but its not the same. the wires in my car are brown, black (2 black wires?), brown with white stripes, black with white stripes, red with green stripes and blue.
thanks heaps

i wouldnt rely on colour either

Left front speaker- Brown & Brown with white line (+ & -)
Right front speaker- Black & Black with white line (+ & -)
The other black wire is ground.
Green and blue is constant and blue is ignition (the green and blue keeps power going to your radio all the time to save settings, etc).
The blue wire switches on the radio when you turn the key (ignition trigger).
This is all from memory, so if anyone else can double check what i've said that would be good. After looking at my corsair FSM it seems right though.

I remember trying to use the colour codes from this site when i installed the first head unit i had in the corsair. The colours were NOTHING like the real thing hehe, so out came the multimeter and AA battery and i tested each wire :).
I also used that site when installing a headunit into my mates 93 TX5, and the colours again, were wrong.

i thought the speakers in our car had a common earth?? well unless you had the premium sound system found in the Ti's at least
probably your best bet is to ask Pringles (a member on here) if he'd be able to scan something out of his workshop manual for you.

I have a 91 pintara/bluebird super hatch and I can't find wiring anywhere. 3 black wires, 3 reds, blue, yellow and a 3 browns I think. I have jvc kd-r616 and I get it wired up and it only goes on for about 4 seconds before it shuts off. Can anyone help please? Hah
