;D Gday all,  Just saying gday as im new to this forum & trying to get a feel of the place.  Went on one of the sa cruises in the old poverty pack (2002 TJ Mitsu Ralliart - #38 of 93 manuals in the world) and was quite impressed with the organisation and how the other members reacted to having a non-nissan on the cruise.  Pumped day for sure

Hey! Yeah that is a pretty cool car (having seen it in real life). Its no problem having different car makes on cruises.  Just makes it more interesting in my opinion.

i dont think he'd really need to mod it.. its a ralliart magna. they're a limited edition 180kw magna.

Quote
The Ralliart Magna has been modified to provide practical performance motoring throughout the length and breadth of the country. Even though the heavily re-tuned engine develops 180kW of power and 333Nm of torque, it does so running on standard grade (91 RON) unleaded fuel. The power increase has resulted from: ? a revised camshaft with higher lift, ? a sports exhaust, ? modified engine management mapping, ? re-designed cylinder head, ? increased compression, ? stainless steel exhaust manifold (extractors). The power is transmitted through the front wheels still, but a standard limited slip differential keeps the torque under some control. Springs and dampers have been upgraded by Koni for handling that is closer to neutral. Steering geometry and brakes are also revised for improved sports-oriented driving. Interior trim and fittings are unique to the Ralliart and include a security-coded Eclipse audio system with 7-disc CD stacker and 14 speakers, sports seats trimmed in red and black and bearing the Ralliart legend, red-faced instruments with white calibrations and a leather-bound Momo steering wheel. Available with both the standard five speed manual transmission or five speed Tiptronic automatic

yeah that about sums it up.  Ive changed all the engine fluids to super performance ones,  gutted the exhaust & changed the gear knob & boot.  The 180kW is actually wrong, we had one (stock) dyno'd and they're actually 192kW at fly and just over 150kW at wheels i think if i remember correctly.  they to a 13.8 1/4mile standard so theyre not too bad eh...

thats what I got told.  in the book it says 14.78 but apparently that was wrong.  also they ARE 190kW contrary to popular belief.  That RALLI///ART on am is not modded that hard.  all its got is a 7 ince cannon & a piggy back fuel re mapping eh.  Build number #0001.  Nice bloke.
