Really not worth the risk running any type of aluminium wheel nuts.
Why? Aluminium has a fatigue life, and once that life is reached, they fail.
Steel does not, unless you overload them past the rated yield stress of the material.
As an example, I run normal steel wheel nuts on my track car. Prior to going out on the track, i've had them torqued up TIGHT (80-90Nm).
5 laps at speed after the first session - I can tighten them a further 1/2 turn.
I would not want to be doing that with aluminium wheel nuts.
