So I wanna do the top black parts of my doors and mirrors with stick on carbon fibre, has it been done before? Was also considering doing dash face with it to hide some damage

I used some vinyl that looked like carbon fibre. Top of door trims is hard to get right with the contours of the skin. There is some better stuff to use, Pedro on here should be able to tell you what it is. And I'd look into getting it done professionally as its a tough job to do yourself.

Lol, 'coz Anth doesn't have a U12 as well? :P

I thought (VERY) briefly about CF wrapping some parts. Quite frankly, that's the last thing I'd ever do to my car *if* I was still keen. That's money that could be spent on other fun things. Carbon fibre wrap is a nice touch-up on cars that have some balls. AKA Kranzy's SR20 animal. One of my mates has an EP3-R and has a tiiiny amount of CF wrap inside. It looks nice.

The biggest problem is people tend to get carried away...

But no, personally, I'm not a fan of the idea of wrapping a standard U12 in cf. I'd like to see me being proved wrong, but I don't see it looking nice.

Costs 4 bucks on ebay I might get it and do a bit of a mock up one with double sided tape to get an idea, ill post pics, personally I dont think it would look to bad around the doors with red paint, mirrors could be too much tho

My mate cf wrapped the door handle inserts and entire centre console. Centre console looked shit, so he removed it. Small touches are best.

why ask for others thoughts when it seem's you have made up your mind already
on doing a nasty wrap, it's like painting a car pink.... instant devaluation.
