Pod is in
« on: Aug 15, 2004, 12:36PM »
Just bought a simota pod and stuck the bugger on the end of the Maf for now, im going to liberate an aluminium construction sign from work to use as a heat shield. im also contemplating using a bonnet vent (i like my foggies where they are :))
i left the bottom half of the airbox.
Took it for a spin around the block and only noticed a very minimal gain in power, i guess i have to get some cold air into him, but im loving the noise it makes, i hope the oldies in my street dont hate me :)

also stuck some 8mm top gunn leads on, and as i suspected, i cant tell any difference :)

and lastly i was bored so i sanded the ridges on my rocker cover, they had grease stains on them and looked dirty, looks a lot better now

may post pics of my engine bay soon
