as sinserity says around 20. that's 15-60, but covers 20 & don't forget your filter ::)..

In every supercheap store I've ever been to they've had a book which tells you which oils suit your engine..
From there you can choose a brand (Castrol, Motul ect).

I have 10W-40 Castrol Magnetic cause of that add that says its good hahaha.
"90% of engine damage is done from starting the engine, blah blah".

Heard somewhere as well, that the 10W is the thickness of the oil. W meaning winter, so when it's cold it's 10 and when it's hot it's 40? Not sure if its legit or what unit it's measure'd in aha

My u12 ran sweet on gulf western semi synthetic oil, it's like $23 for 4 liters BUT before anyone rats on it, it is made and blended with ALL the same stuff as penrite oil, just a cheaper version giving the same performance. I had someone who supplies oils etc give me an ingredient list on both and they were almost identicle!!!

penrite hpr is full synthetic.frequent  regular changes is the go, its better to have clean gw than filthy' whatever', if budgets an issue at the time.

I've just been Using Mobil super 1000 15W-40 only becuase i got about 48-50 litres from work for free. Haven't had any issues with it yet over summer and winter.
Also from my knowledge the W means Warm, so a Viscosity of 15 when engine is warmed up and 40 cold, But cold temp can change depending on outside temp.

I've been witing for someone to actually say that!! So many people do not know.

Also, all oil is rated using an SL,SM,SN format, the further the second letter is along the alphabet the better the grade of oil. So far, SN is the best.

Homebtand oil is SJ LOL, and penrite full synthetics are SN
