ding ding ding
got it right
just picked this up (actually it got delivered) last night
was looking for a daily (charade mirage etc) but while searching thought id check out what bluebirds and pintaras were on gumtree and this popped up so had to buy it
someones converted to u13 attessa gear (sr20det) from the original sr18de so thing goes ok
Just needs engine mounts and a cv shaft and the idle looked into (idle drops at lights and stalls but its ok if i press the clutch in and leave it in gear - any ideas what could be)
As for future get some rims (workn on getting some black racing rs) and a new front lip - front bar looks like the u13 so maybe retrofit a honda lip etc
-
Has charcoal rims and big shiny exhaust - so it must go fast!! ;D
Regarding the clutch and idle thing - some cars have an electrical switch that prevents the car starting if the clutch is not on the floor (stops girls and old people from running the car on the starter into the building or car in front....) Could it be that there is a stray signal running to the ECU?

i think pedro had a similar problem, might be worth asking him. i can't quite remember what the issue was.
-
I was initially thinking ARX, but thought 'na, couldn't be' :P.
I think that was in a tune :o, or may have been in idle control valve tweek, or both . can't recall.
-
i think it was both, i couldn't get the idle right with the tune until you changed the idle air control valve.
