mine are programmed by myself.. different to the teamnse chip but essentially the same thing.. i havent decided on a price yet, it will depend on how many hours go into the development of them.

this is from adam in another thread.. use the search engine once again there is plenty of info on antrx about these chips if you sat down for 2 minutes & looked..

I was searching around for a post I made ages ago about teamnse performance chips I sell. A few people around here have them in their car, including me. The chip does exactly the same as a Powerchip, remapping the fuel, removing the flatspot at ~2,500rpm and providing more bottom end. It's really designed for best performance with extractors and exhaust, but will provide an improvement in cars without those. You can see how it makes a dyno graph more linear, on my/soon to be SVDU12's TRX: Dyno Graph

You basically get the equivalent of a Powerchip between silver and gold for $195 + postage. I can can also arrange professional installation for a little more if necessary, even from outside Victoria if you send me your ECU. Send me an email if you're interested...

yep, haven't got it on a dyno yet to get some tuning done, but from what i've done on the road it's certainly pulling harder.
I set my distributor back to the normal position (15deg) instead of the 20deg i was running, and have advanced my timing through the piggyback. I added more part throttle timing, and the car feels heaps more punchier and gets better fuel economy (at least it seems too, even with some hard driving).

I might be able to, i know AVO can tune them, so maybe give em a ring and find out how much they want to tune it on their dyno, cos they'll tune it with the more accurate wideband oxygen sensor.
They want about $900 for the SMT6 and another $50 for the cable to connect it to a laptop, but Powerchip in South melbourne can do them for $590 with everything, even the cable. You might be able to get them down a bit more too on that price.
I'll let you know whether i can do it or not ok? Either way it's an excellent computer, i reckon a 1000 times better than a Unichip.

not too hard, but if you haven't had much experience with electrical work/wiring, i wouldn't recommend it.

my car was dyno tuned b4 i bought it and they apparently tuned the fuel mixtures and timing etc.. sum people report having upto 10KW increase at the wheels after having their NA car dyno tuned.. obviously u can expect more from a turbo. Anywayz.. cing as this was done about 1& 1/2 years ago would it need tuning again or would it still b set up the way they did it on the dyno? what im trying to say is would it go out of tune by itself therefore decreasing the power gain that was achieved when dynoed?
Another question, once a Unichip etc is installed does that mean that your car no longer needs to be tuned seeing as it's running of the default setting programmed into the chip?

cheers 4 any info fellas!

You can't dyno tune an EFI car, apart from replacing faulty sensors and setting ignition timing and resetting the ecu by disconnecting the battery. You can't reprogram the stock ecu short of putting a new modified chip in.
