Depending on how much you have to spend id say get a heavy duty clutch. Doesnt need to be the best on the market, but it will give you increase response on changes when you want it, and can handle a bit more punishment.

Personally id send noss a pm and ask for a price through the antrx on a HD clutch, the normal supplier we use cant get the x-clutches anymore so we are getting prices on other brands at the moment.

well i was being an idiot of course... stopped the car for a bit and then when to go again car wouldnt move in first gear, smoke came from under the car and we popped the hood and tryed it again to find where it was coming from there  was like a ting ing noise when i tryed to moved looks little stones hitting metal....

Firts though was CAI but thats got a cover over it and its really fine so its not stones

we looked further to the bottom of the car
i drew the circle its sorta in that area at the bottom of the car where the squiggles are is where all the pipping is and it was cover in oil and stuff

from under the car on the same spot it was covered in oil as well doesnt look old as it was still damp

if you have oil then you have stuffed your slave cylinder or the lines getting to it, yes to fix it it takes ten mins to swap over, but also check to make sure your bell housing doesnt have oil in it or you clutch will slip like crazy and you'll end up having to get your clutch done too

good luck

If it is the clutch slave cyclinder then where is all the smoke coming from he described? S'pose it could get sprayed onto the exhaust manifold but I doubt it. Seems like wishful thinking that it is the slave but for your sake cash/effort wise, I hope it is!  ;D

If there is fluid its definatly the slave, if the clutch fork boot is missing, my guess is the oil entered there onto the clutch which caused the smoking.

Speak to noss, or check out the shop rather.

The clutches they sell are awesome, trust me! I had one in my car and it's still my favorite clutch I've ever used! I miss it :P

A couple of other people on here use similar clutch but same brand. All great reviews.

Clutch will not give any performance increase.
A heavy duty clutch just clamps on tighter to stop any slipping when you give the car a hard time.
This can have some draw-backs.....
Less low speed control, can be difficult to take off smoothly and because the clutch is now stronger and can cope with more abuse, the gearbox is likely to be the next thing to blow up if you do drive it hard.
Gearboxes are also a lot more expensive to repair than a burnt out clutch!
