bluebird graphics
« on: Jul 18, 2006, 07:47PM »
hi

when i bought my car some of the graphics had been taken off, i have a HNU12, the side decal near the rear doors are still on it which said "twin cam atessa" but the rear is off, i can faintly see on the right hand side of the boot "bluebird Atessa SSS"

im pretty sure someone else in this club has the same modle car as me and theres is a sss-g or something.

i need to get my local geaphics company to make some up for me if anyone has a pic of whats suppose to be on the back or has the correct font on there computer that would be a great help

cheers

it would be fairly hard to do, unless you find it online somewhere, print it out in high resolution and take it to a sign shop and get them to lazer it onto a sticker for you.

But if i was you i wouldnt worry about the stickers, i would remove the dodgy ones and make everyone scratch their heads as to what the car could possibly be

if you wanted a company to make those stickers and not have them look shit, you would have to find the original vector files. anyhting and you wont get a sharp edge. strip the car of stickers and increase the sleep-o-metre ;)

if you can get a front on pic of the lettering in a good size and also the measurements (i.e. height and lentgh of the overal badging) i'll do it up in autocad for you and convert it to an EPS file which your sticker makers can use.

reckon you could help with pics & measurements budge?

Hey just on the topic of stickers, If you need any help making some up. I'm a graphic designer so I could make something up the same. Also I know a guy who runs a signage business who makes vinal decals etc. I can proberly get a decent deal on them. Noss if you are interested in getting antrx stickers printed that can be organised as well. Just drop me a pm if you are interested.

i can help with taking a pic of the Atessa bit full front on, i do not know how to work with photoshop but if someone can generally get it onto the computer like the above SSS i can take it down the shop and get them to do it for me, ill take a pic tonight if someone could have a bash, that just leaves the 2.0 bit and the limited.

im surprised that the u12 hasnt got the red cheque bit, that been a sss thing since day dot, i think it looks cool

Its the right colour on the RNU12's SSS front badge... red and white, but the HNU12 has the silver/white.

yeh well as i said, if you can get me a front on photo and some measurements so i can make it the right size, i can do it up in autocad and convert it to an EPS (vector graphics) which is the format your sticker guys will use - that way, you dont have to pay to have a picture converted to vector graphics.
