kompressor badge on r33

as the topic suggests, today at moolooaba i saw an r33 with skyline light up in purple lights everytime he hit the brakes, there was nissan badge, and right where r33 gts belonged was the KOMPRESSOR badge from the mercedes......? have i missed something or u think this guy had an engine conversion??? then i think why get rid of the original motor? i am confused and maybe this guy is as well. wots going on?

kompressor actually means "supercharged" in german.
Perhaps he has done an engine conversion (which begs the question WHY), or maybe it was a non-turbo skyline which has has supercharged??

2.0L 4 -------> 3.0L 6. Does this mean a 4.0L 8 next?? or back to a 2.0L......turbo!

thats interesting, so maybe you are right with the non-turbo to supercharged conversion. even still why have kompressor badge....interesting!!!
