Quick_sst's Car
« on: Dec 19, 2003, 07:06AM »
Hey, i don't know if the pic will work as i'm a little hopeless at this sort of stuff.

If it does....

This is quick_sst's mazda 323 turbo with a B6t twin cam 1600 with 17inch Avantek blades (which we swapped onto my car)

(There's fast and then there is scary fast. This car is scary fast!)

I might put a pic of my baby on here later!

My mates got a highly modified TX3 turbo 4WD - same engine as yours! Its a damn quick car and handles extremely well!! Have you ever seen a Mazda Familia GTR (sold as import only & rare as) Its pretty much a stock off the production line rally car!!

The car handles ok but the lack of traction is a problem with it being only front wheel drive. The motor is actually out of the BF gtx awd 323 but has been fully rebuilt with forged pistons and shot peened rods. The head has had extensive port work done with a 3 angle valve job. there is a high flow rhb5 hanging off the exhaust manifold pushing 20 psi. we have modified the factory ecu to richen the mixture over 10 psi which is adjustable in cabin. To date the best the car has done is 13.5 @112mph with 143kw at the wheels with 512nm at 3800. not bad for a 1600 but i want more.
