Side mirror glass removal?

Just wondering how do we remove the side mirror glass? I would assume you just poke a screwdriver in there and lever it out?  but i dont want to break it... especially since i wouldnt know how to get the broken glass out either.  :-\

It's double-sided-taped in.

You've got to pop the plastic glass backing out along with the mirror, then it's a bitch to get back in because the friction locating clips keep falling out.

There isn't any easy way to remove the glass. You're better off getting another mirror from the wreckers.

I cant find any electric mirrors at the wreckers, might have a go at pulling them out anyway.  maybe i should just get some fancy ones from some other car and make fit :)
