theres a half decent pair on eBay at the moment.

just want to know how difficult they are to fit,etc...

Be lookin at custom rails or even possibly being able to modify the stock rails to fit. I put R33 seats in my pintara and all i needed to do was the get the rear brackets from the skyline seats welded onto the stock rails. Personally i'm not to keen on the "2 for $550" kind of thing...quality doesn't seem to be up to high standards if there is an accident...just my 2 cents though  ???

took the old seats out of the bluebird... damn what a nightmare to make up rails for this thing..

the original rails sit at different heights and i will have to get the seat belts mounted to the chassis instead of the seat where they are now.

anyone done this mod to their car before.

usually they come with rails, which you recycle. then you mod your own to make it fit. Ammerty can help out if he reads this.

damn nice recaros same ones i wanna get cept in black :) do you know how similar your seat setup is compared to the u13s? and the reason they sit high is because your not using the recaro rails?

from memory, if you change the stock seats, to say buckets, then you will need to get a certificate from a mechanic to say that it has been engineered (not put in dodgy like).

your car is deemed unroadworthy until you have the certificate. as far as im aware thats the case in the ACT anyway. not sure bout other states.

Im not too sure if the setup is the same or similar for the U13 but the reason they sit a tad higher is that the factory seats are just made lower, two different heights with the recaros and the oem units. The recaro railssit about an inch lower, taking away the top part of the rail in the U12

Sumo, don't mean to be a pedantic ass (ok, well maybe I do...).  If your talking about a Bluebird ATTESA then please get it right, especially if you are the owner of the car!

An alteza is a Toyota of some sort mate, or a type of crappy clear/crystal tail light lense.
