Camry end caps on U13
« on: Aug 3, 2006, 06:52PM »
Hey guys, ive had a crazy idea that might actually work, i just need to find me some end caps off 2005 Camry Sportivo.

Ive done a rough measurement and the rear part (from wheel arch to bumer corner) of the Camry and Bluey are roughly the same length. The Camry seems bit longer.

I want to fit these:

The the back of my car, they look quiet nice.

What you guys think?

There are two types of rear end cap.

The other is:

As you can see it doesnt have the little part that goes up the side of the wheel arch. Might be even easier to fit. And its little bit more rounded so it might suit our cars better

Hi People!

Long time reader, first time poster.

I am currently fitting the camry rear end caps to my Attesa Bluebird. Almost fit perfectly. They only cost $26 each from toyota. Will post some pic's and part numbers when done.

The ones at the top of this subject. They match up really well with the factory side skirts.

EDIT: Just noticed that your part numbers state they are both RR. The No1 and No2, is that relating to my piccies above?
Thanks mate, karma for you!!

Altho im going for the second picture, as i think it will suit the rest of the kit better being more rounded.

Might just wait it out and see what yours look like.

Tried to post a pic, but I cant get it to work.

It says RR on both LH and RH Descriptions. The No1 and No2 mean LH and RH of the spoiler pictured at the top of this post.

How do you post a pic?

If you asking me Nick nah i havent, he only sent me that one photo of it. He said its getting painted and he will be fitting them properly this weekend.

If you ask me i think that the second picture of the camry end caps (or air dams) will suit much better, as they are more rounded like the rest of the body kit on the Blueys. But these one (pic above) look much better.

Thanks for the info on how to post.

Here they are on test fit. Need to be moved down a bit to line up with top of the side skirts, but you get the idea.

They look perfect!

Thanks attesa_u13 I'm defiantly gonna get a set, ill proberly modify them a bit to suit my own personal tastes. Is the material there made out of able to flex at all or is it too ridged.

To think when I 1st read this topic I was very skeptical about how it would look.

It is super flexy plastic. You can just about bend it back on itself without it snapping.

Think i deleted the email so the pic got deleted too.

Looks good!! But im still going for the second ones, will post up pics once i get it on as a test and then once its colour-coded.

You under estimate my measuring and gorking skills. When it comes to useless shit like that im the one to ask.
Just like me wanting to fit Audi A4 (96-99) headlights to the bluey, they look to be fairly identical, maybe little bit of shaving here and there and little bit of re-wiring and they should fit good.

I believe they're projector-style lights.

That is correct Jono, they look very sweet. But as they have 2 blubs (one for low beam and one for high beam) some piggibacking will be required. But the Audi conversion is a totally different story. Another option is the series 3 BMW (the olderish ones)
