i havent heard of any failing continuosly on the u13.. the only time i've heard of more than one failing in a short period is on budginator's corsair.. but of course, thats not a u13 :(

after reading up a bit on u13 distributors, apparently the o-ring that seals the distributor shaft is prone to fail on the KA24DE and as a result oil will get into the distributor and foul the optics in the distributor and if this fails, you have to buy a whole new distributor. the suggested cause for this to occur is a bad pcv valve.

well, making me worried... my distributor is leaking oil out of the cap, and is cracked from being over-tightened, and the seal around the cap is hagning off...

Sorry for the revival but at least i searched.
are you sure a new distributer is required? is it possible to replace the seals and o-ring, give the distributer a complete clean ?
i have oil in the dizzy cap.

Thank KA Bluey. He was the one that posted this.
Your car may be able to go faster.
But I can go any where. except into a garage, underground carpark, bridge...

2 sticks and manual locking hubs. have to get out to drive it around
