All i did was take my rotary tool to it and cut the back sort of grill thing of then sanded it back pretty rough primed it sanded it back then used a can of touch up paint and some acrylic clear coat to get it lookin nice. Its reasonable but not top notch allright for a first go i guess.

haha nice mate, i actually converted mine from silver to white today too. i didn't mesh it, just pulled the stock grille shit out with pliers. I actually meshed the one on my last trx and it looked just like that.

I attacked mine with some paint stripper, scraper and some sandpaper. I white primed it, sanded again. Primed some more sanded it and painted away, turned out bloody nice.  I actually pulled my nissan badge off with a flat screwdriver so i didn't have to worry about taping it up and stuck it on again later.

i decided to leave my badge the silver paint on it is stuffed but oh well. yeah i definitely prefer the grille colour matched to the car instead of silver. looks heaps better

I was going to paint my grille white but decided against it and painted it black. The black also looks good on the pinny IMO.

Nice job on the mesh, looks sweet!  :)

Yea hI did the same sort of thing too, I have a white Pinny.
Got rid of the stock honeycomb mesha dn the nissan badge to give it a sort of "letterbox" style grille.
Painted it matt black and looks schmick  ;D

Definately an easy modification I would recommend to anyone.

Well you could stick your fingers together  :P Or even stick them to your grille..."on Today Tonight, are new fashions going to far? Youth around Australia are sticking nissan grilles to their hands in an effort to join the 'cool crowd' "

I personally reckon it's awesome stuff.

5min is great for general repairs, and 24hr Araldite is much stronger.
