And there's not much I can say
But we miss you every day
And I'm bitter 'cause it's unfair
We'll be drinkin' in the sun
Playing music having fun
Cause one day I'll see you there

A carby!

And do you mean in the new cars, they have a MAF? (Mass Air Flow Sensor) connected to the air box..
Well-well look. I already told you: I deal with the god damn customers so the engineers don't have to. I have people skills; I am good at dealing with people. Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?

the r31 is fuel injected.

the pintara has the ca20e injected engine

to put a POD on the carby engine, the best idea is NOT to lol.

a ramflo filter will do just as well. they are the POD for carbies.

I believe your talking about the older style MAF witch has a swing type door that opens and closes & yes the Older R31 DOSE have the large MAF the KA dose not... it's been talked about before some where.

Yes you can, alot of people are using pod filters on pintaras, you can also make up a cold air intake to make the most of a POD.  here are some threads about them...

Cheers mate but im still wondering what makes it a cold air intake coz in the DIY i read it didnt have any source for cold air or does it mean it just catches teh air before it heats up. Thanks anyway im lookin for ward to gettin it done.  ;D

If you were to mount a pod filter inside the engine bay, in the same spot as the factory air box, the filter would suck in hot air from the engine (particularly the heat coming off the exhaust).

This is why you should make up a Cold Air Intake, because they bring the air in from the front of the car, which is much cooler than the air that is in the engine bay.

A Cold Air Intake doesn't actually make the air entering the engine any cooler than it is outside the car.
