go the cats, I'm only just getting over the hangover today as i was at the grand final and I'm a mad Geelong supporter, the cup has finally come home, to all you port supporter's i feel your pain, i know what its like i was at the 92,94,95 grand finels and 05 prelim (fucking nick Dave's). can we do it back to back fuck yes we can. we have the power of the pussy. go cats in 2008.

Enjoy it guys, its a great feeling. Not so great is the feeling of being on the end of the sporting worlds second biggest hiding for sometime. Im only just beginning to be able to talk about it.

I had prepared myself for a loss but i didnt expect it to be by that much. Thats probably the bit that hurts the most :(

I remember in 04 when we won, adelaide went nuts, they had to close off rundle st (one of the main sort of dining/shopping streets) as all the bogans were ripping massive skids and there were crowds everywhere around them, the cops couldnt do a thing.

smashed SA in the A-leauge last season
smashed SA in the AFL
smashed NSW (Manly, Sydney more specifically) in the Rugby :P :D

Gotta love inter-state rivalry :)

We shall see how the cricket pans out this season.

haha. this year i actually supported melbourne in the grand final, because they played manly, who are the collingwood of the NRL

manly had all the money back in the day and bought all the good players. especially some of the top wests players and went on to be one of the top teams winning a few times in the 70's.
it was dubbed the silvertail-'fibro' war between rich and poor teams.

They hate Collingwood just because they are Collingwood. As for seeing the cricket this season, it is quiet obvious, me being a South Aussie, that we are going to get pumped as usual. haha, and im a cricketer.

You hate collingwood due to the eddie m factor, mick malthouse and the collingwood supporters are generally feral (feraler than port that is). Its not really a hate either its just a dislike, its much better to beat them (not usually that hard) than to lose to them than any other team in the afl (albeit possibly geelong now)
