Unfortunately the kits are now becomming rather hard to find, especially in good condition.  Best to keep checking wreckers, or keep an eye out on ebay.  Alternatively save up and get something custom made, or repair your cracked up kit.

If you do a search on the site, you should beable to find a fair bit of discussion about body kits etc for the pintara.

And welcome to the club  :)

CAPSLOCK

AS FAR AS I KNOW CUSTOM MADE IS THE WAY TO GO... ALTHOUGH I'VE READ THAT S13 BARS CAN BE MODDED TO FIT (MAY END UP CHEAPER)

I've looked into the S13 bars a bit more lately, they are the right shape to fit front, but the part under the cornering lights needs to be put in, ie. a 150x100 square and mount point for front guard.  Pretty sure they need to be cut in the middle and a few inches taken out also.

Hopefully have some more details about the WRX fronts fitting soon, Hiro said they were pretty damn close, but not known what needs to be modded.

Finally Toyota AE92 kits should be extremely close also, but are a bit rarer than the other two just mentioned... i'm sure i've covered this on  one of the other threads... but there you have it.

How badly damaged is it? If its not too bad just buy a fibreglass repair kit and patch it up from behind, prep it up and paint it. Depends how bad it is really, but thats what i'd be doing.

Otherwise just taking it off all together. Dont try and put another kit on it.

Taking the kit off would leave holes all over the place which would need to be bogged up and painted. Not really worth it when you could fix up the kit with the same amount of effort.

A 95-97 model WRX bar will go strait on. I'm pretty sure that was the model. There is just a small gap at the sides near the side fenders, but you can pump your guards to suit.  I know that an 90ish model Integra bar comes close - I am using one on my TRX, with only very minor mods. If you can chase a custom bar from a drift spec Toyota Cresida in Japan or some were else they will go strait on, just a few gaps at the side. I know that a Nissan Leopard bar can be fitted easily as well as a Nissan Lorell Bar.

I am using an S13 bar, the front of the bar sits in fine, but the sides are a mile out and have to be moded.  I do know that the S15 bar is very close fit, more than the S13. WRX is the way to go, If I knew it before I would have saved myself the hassel, but Im happy with my Bomex bar.

Um, er, ok, n14 it is.

I have heard of it and seen it modified on a u12 before - it didnt look that great (bad aftermarket n14 style bar) I dont know whats invloved because I havent tried it myself or seen or spoke to the person who did it. With the other ones I did.

By looking at it though it was a bad choice of a bar, not to say that another n14 bar wouldnt look good, but the one I sore was sheet.  I think that all that seems to be modded is the sides. I will see if I can find it and post it up unless some one else has it or remembers it. . .It was on a black U12 Bluebird with shity wheels.
