Oil filter relocation kits?

I'm after an oil filter relocation kit for the KA, anyone here know what type of thread is used and is there any existing kits which will work? ie SR20 etc etc.

Joczy: You wouldn't be able to tell me what diameter and type of thread is used on the oil filter mounting on the KA block you've got?

I hate having to reach so far down to change the damn oil filter every 5000k's  :(

Is anyone able to confirm/deny this?:
"Kit for a Ford V8 will work -- the KA oil filter uses a 3/4"-16 thread."

This was from a mod over at FreshAlloy's Advanced 240sx section, so i'm pretty sure it's right.

im not back at work till tuesday, but the easiest way to find out what size is needed is to ask at ur local spare parts joint, what size and thread the z145 oil filter is. they should be able to tell u this.

from memory im sure its 3/4, its also one of the most common filters for an engine, so there should be heeps of kits that could be used.

I`m yet to look into this but i was intending on making a kit with braided lines, adapters etc using an anodised TRUST oil cooler available to you guys

Not sure on price though
Might have to use another cooler to keep costs down as i`m pretty sure the TRUST items are pretty expensive

I really need a cheap TRX to start things on  ???

joczy is aelling his.. even though its not cheap as such, it is around the average price and its a very clean trx... if you're selling the gtr, then it wouldnt hurt the budget too much..  ;D

Yeah gtr is going but the funds from that are already tied up unfortunately  :(

I sent Joczy a msg to let him know that i`m thinking of it but i really need to sell the gtr first

Plus if anyone wants a Elantra this help my funds out immensely  ;D
